I just watched The Terminator with my kids tonight and what a great movie it is! I’m really not a movie guy and that might surprize your as this is a so called celebrity blog. As my regular readers will notice this is not your ordinary celeb blog. I talk about everything here. Tonight it’s time to talk about movies and the terminator is tonights topic.
I like the terminator because even though it’s a bit violent it’s not extreme. There is no sex in it so I could watch it with my kids. It was on tnt or something like that so… The Terminator is a great Arnold movie because the suspense is masterful! I think we need to tone down the gory and sexual movies that are out these days. They go overboard because the movies actually lack a good plot and development. So they substitue sex and violence.
The Terminator came out in 1984 and was a futuristic movie where one of the characters came from WAY in the future, around 2021! That’s not so far away now is it? Scary, I was ten years old when it came out and now the time has passed.
I love the line where Arnold gets into the eighteen wheeler, after getting run over and says to the passenger, “GET OUT” and the guy GETS OUT! LMAO!!! Funny stuff. I love action movies where humor is included in a way that works. The Terminator is an all time classic. A scary ‘Robot’ movie about the future we are almost living in.
